My Vitamin and Supplement Regimen

For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with vitamins.  Since a child my mom use to give me the flinstone vitamins and this my friends is where my love for supplements began.  Now some would call me obsessed with vitamins I would call it covering all of my bases.  Since I have a lot of food allergies I am deficient in a lot of things so this is the way that I compensate and get those nutrients.  

I got yelled at by my doctor a few years ago because every morning I was taking close to 15 vitamins.  

Previous Daily Regimen:

3 Multi-Vitamins (packaging stated I needed 3 so 3 is what I took)

1 Fish Oil

1 Vitamin D tablet

2 Vitamin E tablets

1 Vitamin C tablet

1 Cranberry tablet

2 Biotin/Keratin tablets

1 Iron Pill

2 Green tea pills

1 Calcium

2 Cayenne Pepper Pill (helped with visceral fat) 

1 probiotic 

2 B12 (to help with energy)

Curls Hair liquid vitamin/ Hairfinity (I would switch it up every now and then)

I am pretty sure there were more this is just all I could think of at the moment.  I carried around a vitamin bag. The salesmen in GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe knew my name it was bad y’all. These vitamins also were not cheap.  I take my vitamins consistently on a daily bases so I was in the vitamin stores at least once a month.  

Now after years of research I have narrowed down my vitamin intake drastically in my opinion.  Everyday I now take the following regimen 


Current Daily Regimen:
2 Multi-Vitamins (Opti-Women)

2 Moon Juice Super You tablets

4 Moon Juice SuperHair tablets

96 ounces of water

Vital Protein Strawberry Lemonade Collagen beauty powered mixed with 8 ounces of water during the day.

Moon Juice Night Beauty Adaptogenic Supplement with 8 ounces of water before bed.

If you ask me this is a drastic improvement. I have more energy, I am overall in a better mood, and I can see the positive changes happening with my hair elasticity, nails becoming stronger and growing quickly as well as overall condition of my skin. You are what you put in your body and a lot of people forget that. As I research more and more products I am sure my current regimen will continue to evolve and I will update you all on the new products I have incorporated.

Now I am not sure if you can tell but I am obsessed with Moon Juice products I own a lot of their supplements and I mix them with water daily as well as their face products and vitamins and I love the positive affect that this has on my body.  I will follow up with another post strictly focused on Moon Juice and I will let you know exactly how I feel about each product.
