Oh Lola

Over the years I have turned into a very “woke person” in regards to what I put on and in my body.  I research products and decide what is best for me.  99% of the groceries that I purchase are 100% organic and I pride myself on using detergents and soaps that are dye and certain chemicals free.

Now for years I have been using Always and Tampax products for that time of the month but Ive known for a good while that these products are not made without the harsh components that aren’t necessarily good for your body.  I researched other brands that were out on the market and this my friends is how I stumbled upon Lola.  Lola is a dream come true for women.  Their products are 100% cotton no plastic and other foreign components being shoved into your body.

Lola is a company that cares what you use.  They offer a subscription service where you can get deliveries every 4 or 8 weeks.  I opt into deliveries every 8 weeks and the beauty of this company you can skip deliveries or push up deliveries.  Just the other week I realized I was practically out of everything! This was a disaster waiting to happen but I was able to log into my account and push up my order.  The wonderful people at Lola were able to get me my delivery the day I needed it.  Now if I would have needed the products sooner I would have had no choice but to run to a store and grab something. Luckily it didn’t have to come to that.

Lola offers an array of products from feminine hygiene products, all the way down to organic condoms which are also available for purchase.  I don’t know about you but in a world where it is acceptable to have traces of yoga mat in Subway bread and its cleared for human consumption I am pleased to know that there are companies with products out there that alleviate the bad stuff.  Yes, these products have a premium but I love knowing what I am putting in my body.

My bi-monthly order is roughly $28 dollars and that consist of:

1 pack of pads with wings (I hate wings but this is all that they offer at the moment)

1 pack of regular cardboard tampons

1 pack of panty liners

If you break this down into a monthly expense this is around the same price for the other over the counter brands.  I will say that Always and Tampax have come out with organic lines of products and I have tried them in the past.  But it is something about Lola that has made a faithful customer out of me.  When they come out with other products I will without a doubt try them and provide updates due to the fact that I love how their feminine hygiene products make me feel.
