How I Stay Organized
Hey Sitting Pretty Peeps,
How are you all doing day 1072 of quarantine? I don't know about you all but this has been rough and I have been stir crazy! Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic I have had a lot of big changes happen and they all happened really quickly. For starters I moved. I will create a home series and update everyone on this at a later date.
How do I stay organized and on track when it is so easy to go a rye? I am going to share with you all a few things that I do that help me stay organized and check off my monthly goals.
1.) I write down my goals weekly and monthly. I physically write them down! Pen to paper! I have a planner for just about everything and I use them for just about everything. The last week of the month I write down my monthly goals for the upcoming month.
2.) For me I consider the beginning of the week Monday so on Sunday nights I write down my objectives for the upcoming week. Leave nothing out if you want to take a 20 minute nap on Wednesday mid-day jot it down hold yourself accountable leave nothing out.
I realized that writing down every little thing holds me accountable and it gives me that sense of gratification at the end of the week seeing all of the little goals that I have checked off. Now im not super human there are some weeks when I don't check off every task but if that is the case I just add the incomplete task to the following week. Nonetheless the task gets completed before the end of the month.
3.) At the end of the month I look back and see how many of my goals I actually accomplished. I am pretty good and obtaining my monthly goals!
Literally writing things down holds me accountable, as I am eager to check it off my list!
