Briogeo 30 Day Hair Vitamin Review

12 months after my version of a big chop.

12 months after my version of a big chop.

Hi Sitting Pretty Friends,

Back with another review here.  This time around I am going to review the Briogeo 30 Day Hair Vitamin.  I first came into contact with Briogeo products over a year ago.  I would see this cute bottle in sephora of a golden teddy bear.  For some reason seeing this would always remind me of honey.  I would always tell myself who would actually put that honey concoction in their hair.  Nonetheless, this is how I was introduced to the product.  Fast forward to this year I now want to try this honey concoction as I have read so many reviews on the product and you guessed it the product was sold out everywhere and I think it was limited edition so they weren't ever going to bring it back.  While I was sad I took this time to look into the brand.  I have natural overly curly hair that the older I get the tighter the curls get.  Over the years thanks to this natural hair trend coming to the forefront the amount of products that are popping up everywhere was overwhelming.  Now I have tried a lot of the natural hair products that pop on the market and just being completely honest with you more than half of them don't work for my hair.  I have decided to start a hair series so be on the look out for that coming soon.

Okay back to Briogeo, after doing research and seeing a lot of reviews I decided to jump on board and buy some of their products.  I purchased the Curl Charisma line (I will review this also in another post).  I am also a big supplement person.  I saw that Briogeo also had a vitamin so I decided to give this a try as well.  What's one more supplement to my morning routine of 20 lol!

Okay review time:

I will first start off with the size and amount of supplements that you have to take.  These gel capsules are so tiny.  You need to take 2 at a time.  Now I have tried my fair share of hair supplements from liquid vitamins to massive capsules that you need to take 4 at a time.  I've done it all.  Hands down my favorite in terms of size and quantity.

Briogeo is a vegan-friendly, sugar free as well as sustainable source of omega.  I learned from reading their site that they actually worked with a nutritionist to customize a formula! Now that’s dedication!

My big chop

My big chop

My Hair Journey

So, over the years my hair has been through it.  As soon as my mother allowed me to do my own hair I destroyed it.  Let me not say that, but it started to break off and I became lazy I didn't do my hair everyday.  I would style my hair in a ponytail and I would leave my hair in that ponytail for daysssss at a time.  Looking back on it my hair was still around my bra strap length when I messed it up.

For my 27th birthday I decided to do a big chop I cut my hair to my neck I wanted a bob so I cut my real hair instead of trying out this style with a wig or sew-in.  I am a ponytail fanatic now I can't believe I cut my hair off and it couldn't even fit in a ponytail lol I was struggling.

By the time I was 28 my hair was back down my back but not as long as it was before I did my version of a big chop.

Now that I am 30 I am extremely conscious as to what I put in my body and now I want to grow long luxurious hair so I needed to find a vitamin that would fit into my healthy lifestyle and Briogeo is that vitamin for me.  I also use briogeo's shampoo's and conditioners and other products which I will review as well.

UPDATE:

I love these vitamins and will continue to add them to my daily  regimen.  I am just starting my third bottle of briogeo hair vitamins and my hair is stronger, shinier, as well as my nails are growing longer and stronger.  I love my results thus far.  I will also post an update at the 6 month mark.

Let me know if you have tried Briogeo hair vitamins and what you think!
