Tea Time!!
If you were to follow me around for 24 hours you would learn a lot about me and my routine. Some of the big takeaways are all items have a certain place, I only sit in one spot on my massive couch, I have an extensive skin care and vitamin routine morning and night and lastly I love my tea! I have two tea cabinets that are at capacity. I love to make tea with my tea kettle each and every morning. Even if I skip breakfast I don't skip my daily dose of tea.
I have never been a coffee person. I've tried to drink coffee over the years, but all and all I can't jump on that band wagon. Now I do love Starbucks. What do I get from Starbucks you ask? Tea! I crave tea, vitamins and ramen but that’s another blog post.
White teas, Green teas, Black teas, loose leaf, I love them all. I have an unhealthy obsession with DavidsTea as well as other specialty teas that I find and collect. The aroma that DavidsTea gives off when I walk past the store pulls me in each and every time. I go in and sniff the new blends, and I somehow always leave with a few ounces of something.
For a little over a year at this point I have been members of tea clubs one in particular that I will touch on in this post is Sips by. I am not sure exactly how I found out about this tea club, but I did and I have been hooked ever since. What is Sips by you ask? Sips by is a monthly tea subscription where you complete a profile assessment and based off your answers amazing tea connoisseurs will put together an assortment of teas matching that profile. On average your tea box will come with enough tea to make at least 15 cups.
Another great thing I like about Sips by is lets say there is a tea that you receive in your box that you love you don't have to wait until you receive that tea again months from now you can go directly to their website and purchase that said tea. I have purchase a few teas this way from the site, and I am grateful that they have this option.
Sips by is affordable, they charge $15 dollars a month for the subscription service and that trickles down to $1 a cup that’s pretty reasonable. If you decide after a few months that you want to change your profile you can always go back and retake the assessment and your monthly pull will be updated.
As I write this post I am currently sipping on a Macaroon tea that I got from Fauchon in Paris. This is a tea that I need to ration as Fauchon doesn't currently deliver to the states.
Going forward I will post a tea of the week! Let me know some of your favorite tea's below!
Until our next tea time, be safe out there!
XoXo,
Amber B.
